I saw someone on one of these while I was riding to work one day. I saw her again so I stopped her to ask about it. It seems to be exactly like an elliptical trainer at the gym but it moves. If I had tons of “extra” money I would use one to train instead of running. It seems nice to be outside instead of in the gym.

If you ride one it won’t rain. Or be uphill. Or go near abusive motorists.
I think I’ve seen this (or something like it) advertised previously. They look pretty innovative for what they do – particularly for those who aren’t great fans of being in the gym. But very urban-park-ish? I can’t imagine getting one for my forthcoming 16-mile commuting ride…
It is for flat, paved, non-automobile roads only. A gym workout but outside and nothing more.
Wow. Really? I bet QJWadmin lives somewhere like Austin, TX. Or Portland. Or Seattle. Because that contraption would land its operator in a pile of derision anywhere else.
